I love the quality of education I received at Bocconi. Having previously studied Management back in Turkey, coming here to do my masters in Marketing Management allowed me to get much more specialisation regarding my field. I got to know more about the data side of marketing, which brought me a whole other perspective. The school itself has many opportunities to make your university life the best possible experience. I enjoyed the seminars held, the extracurricular activities carried out, the opportunities to join an association, and have also been staying in one of the residences of Bocconi, which has made my life so much easier. Overall, I can say that both in terms of the education I got and the campus life Bocconi provided me, I am very satisfied with everything.
What makes my university special? The people. At the University of Milan, you are not just a student number - you are part of a supportive community that genuinely wants you to succeed. They have every resource imaginable to help you get through that graduation phase. From the beautiful campus (seriously, it is breathtaking) to the warm and welcoming atmosphere, every day here is rewarding. The classes actually make you want to participate, and the professors go above and beyond to make learning exciting. I wouldn't trade my experience here for anything in the world.
I am following the degree course in Sociology. I'm really happy with how I'm finding myself at this university. I think the professors are very good and available in giving any kind of information. Very active university life with numerous initiatives. Clean and sunny environment. I highly recommend it.
I liked the ambiant, the friendly people, professional professors, the care of details. I had the opportunity to improve myself and find out more about me, my skills and what I'm looking for in a job.
I am a recent graduate of this university and overall, I would not recommend this university to anyone looking to continue their education. Many of my classmates and I had consistent issues with the administration that hindered our learning and dampened our experience. When we tried to propose changes or discuss problems, the administration was not open to working with us. Response times were lengthy and grading was subjective, with no true transparency into how they were determined. This made many of us afraid to speak up, which is why I am doing so now, after I have secured my diploma today. The biggest disappointment for me was the lack of career services. Since this was heavily marketed to me when I was considering this school, I was shocked to learn there is no career office, no career fairs, and no real effort to connect students with alumni who could help us advance our careers. When I approached the administration about the career fair issue, they claimed that career fairs were only possible with the help of student council and that no students had run for a position this year. This was shocking news to me since the school did not hold an Autumn student council election and the Spring election took place less than 2 months before 21 of the 23 students were graduating, thus students would not have been able to make any real change in their remaining time. In my time at SUMAS I did learn a lot and was fortunate to have some great professors who equipped me with knowledge and tools for my career, and I am grateful to them. However, the quality of the education does not outweigh all of the issues we experienced which is why I do not recommend this school to others. ** carefully read their accreditation because they are not accredited by any of the big accreditation organizations that are widely recognized
Personally, I am quite happy with my choice to come to study at Humanitas University and would do so again if I had to. It is by no means a perfect university, it is currently going through some 'growing pains' that result in disorganization, some professors are better than others, etc. However, it's a new university that is growing, the hospital is right next to it, the facilities are new and excellent, there is a lot of support for international students, etc. In my opinion, the pros heavily outweigh the cons.
Nothing to show
