An amazing experience!

I love the quality of education I received at Bocconi. Having previously studied Management back in Turkey, coming here to do my masters in Marketing Management allowed me to get much more specialisation regarding my field. I got to know more about the data side of marketing, which brought me a whole other perspective. The school itself has many opportunities to make your university life the best possible experience. I enjoyed the seminars held, the extracurricular activities carried out, the opportunities to join an association, and have also been staying in one of the residences of Bocconi, which has made my life so much easier. Overall, I can say that both in terms of the education I got and the campus life Bocconi provided me, I am very satisfied with everything.

An amazing academic experience

The program of European and International law emphasizes the European and International jurisprudence rather than one single jurisdiction. The courses are designed to give students a general but comprehensive view of major law branches from an European and international perspective which offers to the students a general but a solid knowledge about the European and International law. Professors are well-trained and very professional in both their teaching methods and the way they interact with students. In terms of infrastructure, the University is in a good state, but some of the classes at the University are quite small in size and this might be one of the weakest points. Nevertheless the Library of the University is one of the main advantages that a student has due to the large collection of the materials, books that can help the student throughout his studies. An additional feature of the Library of the University is the working staff that is always eager to assist you anytime and they are also efficient in communicating in English so the international students will not feel excluded throughout their study time in these environments. From the perspective of an international student, the university tries to include both Italian and international students in their activities and it is noticeable that the university has an international friendly approach. Despite the efficiency and organizational skills of the university’s staff, their services can sometimes fall short under many conditions. There are many advantages as well as disadvantages associated with student life in Trento from a student’s perspective. The university is located in one of the most secured and developed cities in Italy, with natural resources and activities and an asset of this city are its natural resources and out-door activities that can entertain you throughout your studies. The University of Trento provides many students, particularly those from abroad, with the chance to live in one of the university's residence halls. While there, they can interact with numerous Italian and other international students, providing a good opportunity to socialize and learn about other cultures. On the other hand, life in Trento is calm and there aren't many options to attend events like concerts or musical performances. Many students are disappointed by this reality, but during the past few weeks, several activities have occurred, indicating Trento is making an effort to be more active with regard to this type of activity. It is a fantastic chance to pursue a degree in this institution, taking into account all the benefits and drawbacks that a student at the University of Trento may experience, but picking a university also relies on the student's expectations and lifestyle. For many people Trento is a city that provides the security and tranquility necessary for a pleasurable stay, and outdoor activities are also a great choice for those who enjoy sports and other physical activity. However life in this city can also be referred to as a monotonous one, where entertaining activities are very limited in number and should not be compared with what other cities in Italy offer. Due to the University of Trento's outstanding rankings both nationally and internationally, pursuing a degree there is a wise investment in your professional future. The partnerships that this University has are numerous which can guide you on the following steps of your education. Being appraised as one of the best universities in Italy indicates that the courses are well-structured and often practical so that graduates are ready for the workforce and have the necessary skills.

A Proud Step Toward My Academic Dream in Venice

As a former student of the Master’s program in Environmental Sciences – Global Change and Sustainability, I can confidently say that my time at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice was one of the most meaningful and transformative experiences of my life. From the very beginning, the university maintained a high level of professionalism and clarity in its communication and academic processes. As an international student, I felt well-informed about enrolment procedures, visa requirements, and academic expectations. The guidance provided made what could have been an overwhelming transition feel structured and manageable. Academically, the program was both challenging and inspiring. The curriculum was well-designed, fully taught in English, and focused on global environmental issues with a strong sustainability perspective. The professors were knowledgeable, supportive, and encouraged critical thinking and research-based learning. The international classroom environment also allowed me to engage with students from diverse cultural and academic backgrounds, which greatly enriched my experience. Beyond academics, studying in Venice added a unique dimension to my journey. The university offered helpful support services, orientation programs, and assistance with accommodation, which made settling into a new country much easier. Looking back, my time at Ca’ Foscari not only strengthened my academic foundation but also helped me grow personally and professionally. I am truly grateful for the opportunity and would highly recommend this program to anyone passionate about environmental studies and global sustainability.

Disappointing and frustrating

I am a recent graduate of this university and overall, I would not recommend this university to anyone looking to continue their education. Many of my classmates and I had consistent issues with the administration that hindered our learning and dampened our experience. When we tried to propose changes or discuss problems, the administration was not open to working with us. Response times were lengthy and grading was subjective, with no true transparency into how they were determined. This made many of us afraid to speak up, which is why I am doing so now, after I have secured my diploma today. The biggest disappointment for me was the lack of career services. Since this was heavily marketed to me when I was considering this school, I was shocked to learn there is no career office, no career fairs, and no real effort to connect students with alumni who could help us advance our careers. When I approached the administration about the career fair issue, they claimed that career fairs were only possible with the help of student council and that no students had run for a position this year. This was shocking news to me since the school did not hold an Autumn student council election and the Spring election took place less than 2 months before 21 of the 23 students were graduating, thus students would not have been able to make any real change in their remaining time. In my time at SUMAS I did learn a lot and was fortunate to have some great professors who equipped me with knowledge and tools for my career, and I am grateful to them. However, the quality of the education does not outweigh all of the issues we experienced which is why I do not recommend this school to others. ** carefully read their accreditation because they are not accredited by any of the big accreditation organizations that are widely recognized
