My school offers a high-quality educational experience in a friendly and intimate environment. The teachers are knowledgeable and attentive, but also rigorous in their expectations. Overall, it is a great place to study and prepare for a successful future.
View moreI consider that the University of Vigo is a high-level university, where the professors are strict and demanding in their subjects so that the students build a good foundation and grow on it.
I highlight as a positive aspect the involvement in personal development resources offered by the respective departments.
On the other hand, as a negative aspect, perhaps the evaluation regulations do not benefit all students equally and perhaps a more specialized system would have to be created for each student.
My experience at the university of Vigo was very educative and adventurous. It stirred me towards studying further in linguistics because of how interestingly vast the course is. I got to read a lot of books which gave me an edge over others in the command of Spanish and English
View moreThe University of Vigo is, in my opinion, one of the universities with the best study environment in Galicia, among those I have had the opportunity to visit.
The campus called CUVI, or, “the campus on the mountain”, is very pleasant, with a professional-sized football field and an athletics track, as well as a centre with restaurants and other services that can be enjoyed by students.
As my experience was brief, as I only stayed for 6 months, I cannot speak more broadly about the subjects or courses. But all the ones I made were really good. The teachers of the 4 courses I signed up for really knew what they were teaching.
The negative points may have been the difficult locomotion to the campus, as it is too far from the city and a lack of reception for new students/exchange students, which make it difficult to adapt very quickly.

I have been doing a Spanish Language course at the University of Vigo. There are many things about the University that fascinate me a lot. The University has many international students coming from different parts of not only the continent but the world to study there. Also, the professors are really nice and helpful. I never felt away from home because everybody here is so warm and welcoming. I definitely recommend people to study here.
The only problem I faced was with travelling. Well, there are adequate bus services to travel to the University from the city since it is 8 km away, but sometimes it becomes hard. The University has two campuses but mine is the one mentioned above and regardless of the hardships, it’s a really beautiful campus with trees and small lakes and definitely a lot of places for students to hang out.
