Academics at GBSB Global Business School

GBSB Global offers Bachelor, Master and MBA Programs in English both on campus and online. Corporate Programs, Executive Masters, Open Programs and a Summer School are also available at GBSB Global. All programs prepare students for a professional career in today’s global economy with a particularly strong emphasis on innovation and technology. The School provides students with a fully digitalized experience over the course of their programs by using digital touch boards in all classrooms, collaborative apps and many other digital tools that students could utilize in the learning process. The digitalized way of delivering all programs at GBSB Global has led to its partnership with Microsoft and its recognition as a Microsoft Showcase School.

On-campus teaching is delivered by an international faculty, consisting of experienced managers and entrepreneurs, who ensure that all lessons are practical and relevant to the contemporary business environment. Classes are kept small with a maximum of 30 students in order to ensure that the individual needs of all students are met and to facilitate interaction between students.

The online education provided by the school gives students the flexibility to study anytime and anywhere while gaining the same qualifications as students on campus since the curriculum is identical. Remote meetings with professors and classmates on Skype for Business allow students to recreate a real classroom environment and facilitate interaction. Students who decide to undertake an online program have access to study materials online 24/7.

GBSB Global has formed strategic partnerships with the University of VIC – Central University of Catalonia and Swiss UMEF University, which allow the School to offer students the option to gain a double degree and take advantage of exchange and study abroad programs.

Campus & Student Life

GBSB Global has two campuses both of which are located in Spain – in Barcelona and Madrid. A modern building equipped with advanced technologies, located in the city center, is the home of the Barcelona campus. The building houses smart classrooms, a library which contains a wide range of academic resources, a multi-purpose dining area and a computer laboratory. Students in Barcelona can also find multiple co-working spaces, meeting and conference rooms as well as a beautiful garden terrace and all of that within the campus. Students in Madrid can enjoy the comfort of a modern building in a calm student area. The Madrid campus also houses many coworking spaces, computer stations and classrooms equipped with advanced technologies. Both campuses create a truly international atmosphere thanks to the presence of students coming from over 85 countries around the world.

Career & Alumni

The Careers Services of the University strongly support students in the process of becoming more employable and shaping their career by assisting them with job searches and CV writing as well as preparing for interviews and a lot more. Students are also notified of and invited to different career fairs taking place in Spain and abroad in order to ensure that they can familiarize themselves with the multiple opportunities in the job market. Moreover, GBSB Global Career Gate is a portal created by the University where numerous job and internship opportunities are announced to students. GBSB Global arranges visits to various companies where students get a real feel for the professional environment and receive a valuable chance to develop their professional networks. The School wants to make sure that students have access to as many professional opportunities as possible, which is why it partners with professional bodies, such as ACCA, which gives students access to information about thousands of jobs. GBSB Global surely doesn’t leave out students who seek a career as self-employed. It supports aspiring entrepreneurs who wish to establish their own business by arranging business plan consultations and meetings with investors.
