The University of the People (UoPeople) has been a life-changing opportunity for me. As a public health professional working full-time on youth and SRHR projects in Myanmar, I needed a program that was both flexible and affordable. UoPeople’s 100% online model allows me to continue my professional work while pursuing my BSc in Computer Science.

What I like most is the accessibility—students from all over the world can join, regardless of financial or geographical barriers. The peer-to-peer learning system creates a collaborative environment where I learn from classmates with very diverse perspectives. The courses are well-structured, and the support from instructors and advisors has been helpful in keeping me motivated.

The main challenge is that studying at UoPeople requires a lot of self-discipline since it is highly independent learning. But for motivated students, this is a strength—it builds accountability and time management skills.

I would absolutely recommend UoPeople to anyone who wants a recognized, affordable degree without sacrificing other commitments. It is not just an online university; it is a platform that empowers people worldwide to achieve their academic and professional dreams.
