The University of the People (UoPeople) is a relatively new online university with partners such as Berkeley and NYU. They offer a low-cost degree through volunteers and open educational resources. You should be aware that you are asked to be an independent learner here. Every week, you are given about 70-100 pages of reading material per course about which you will write an essay, a discussion post, and a learning journal submission. Latter will be assessed by your instructor, the former two will be peer-graded. In addition, you will have two graded quizzes and one final exam per course per term. I would recommend the university, however, I would encourage you to find out for yourself if it is what you are looking for.
