I study Business Administration at UoPeople.
Studying at this university is tuition-free. You only need to pay an application fee ($60) and assessment fees ($120 for each exam). Thus, the bachelor’s degree program will cost $4,860. For an American education, this is a low price.
Many students study free of any charge, receiving a scholarship. UoPeople has its scholarship fund and scholarships from chary foundations and large companies. All those in need can apply for a scholarship without competition. I also received a grant. I am very grateful to the university. UoPeople is truly a university without borders.
My opinion about teaching is very positive. There is a lot of practice. I can’t recall any major flaws. It seems that problems can arise only on the part of the student, so I advise you to immediately tune in to serious work (namely, to study at the university, not simply take online courses).
You might want to learn part-time (as I do). At UoPeople, you make your schedule. Firstly, you decide which courses you will take next term (1/5 of the academic year). Secondly, you decide how many courses you will take next term (if you take 2, you will complete your bachelor’s degree in 4 years).
Most exams take place in Moodle (where all the training is). Some courses include an exam with proctoring. Exam questions are usually considered throughout the course, which is very valuable: if you have studied diligently, you will pass the exam well.
Finally, UoPeople has many helpful services, including a career center.
