As a student that transferred from another college and had a hard time to find a place to call it home I can confirm that Umass is the place you are looking for. There are always things going on to keep you busy the facilities are amazing and the food is the best. It’s hard not to find a group of friends that fit your personality and beliefs just because there is so much diversity, people from around the world.

College isn’t for everyone and that’s for sure, but Umass Amherst can be a place for all. Umass provides amazing facilities, great professors that seek to help students achieve in the future. Those that work hard and have determination and passion about what they are studying are the ones that will achieve because umass helps them the best.

I loved this university it was the place where I could fully go into depth in my field. Also, It was where I got to emerge myself into clubs and new friendships. The only thing I wished I could have changed was that I went there for four years and not transferred because it was such a blast.

The school has so many research ooppurtinietes for undergraduate and graduate students. As a FRESHMAN, I was able to get into a lab and begin working on a research project. What’s also great, is that I was able to change labs! I had trained for a few months in my specific lab and decided that I wanted to find another lab, and it was incredibly easy!
