A good university for higher education and offers many opportunities for its students to explore and learn more skills in their respective areas of study. Good lecturers and adequate facilities for learning. I had a fantastic time at San Jose State University

My school is a life where students put education as the focus. Careers and pursuits are ways to live and build as we learn. SJSU is in San Jose, California and it’s full of facilities, professors, student life, and the everyday life of the atmosphere whether people go to school, learn, grow, work out at a gym, live there, etc. Great public university and a big campus!

What I liked about the program is that it did help us be creative and learn about public health. Especially during the pandemic, they went above and beyond to make sure that academically we were learning and implementing programs that would be able to help us learn. Unfortunately the advisors for this program we’re not a lot of help. Especially if you were a transfer student from a community college you were misdirected a lot of the times when meeting with the counsellors. Unfortunately, a lot of transfer students I did go to SJSU dead having a hard time graduating on time because the warrant put them on a path where they could succeed. A lot of the times it just felt like we were thrown into this program without knowing what class to take next or if we were going to pass a class. I wish the program itself was a little bit better and ran a little bit better by advisors that could help students

The professors at SJSU mostly all had full-time tech job at companies like FAANG companies. So had deep knowledge of what skillset is required to excel in their respective fields.
On top of that, the campus being in the heart of the Silicon Valley made it really easy to make connections and expand your network.
