The University of West Florida is great. Even though it is a smaller university than Florida, it has a lot to offer. Diversity is high, programs are competent, and the campus is easy to navigate too. Every year I go to UWF, we’ve made history in some way, both with academics and athletics.
View moreI attend the University of West Florida studying general business. I am very satisfied with my education in this field. The professors are eager to help with any problems a student may have. View moreWhen I decided to change my major to focus on the teaching certifications I would like to obtain, my advisor was fabulous! She worked really hard to make sure all of my business lessons were included in my new course. All of his hard work has made the transition to staff and program development a very happy one. I haven’t lost a single credit and I can get my B.S. online. Not losing any credit was my number one goal for the retrial. All of the advisors at this university are great and eager to help you succeed. Biggest advice I can give about the admissions process… “Talk to your supervisor”! If you need to go back and reassess what you’re doing, they’ll all be happy to help. Don’t be afraid to ask questions.
View moreThe University of West Florida is an Amazing University. Downtown Pensacola promotes many activities with arts and theater performances. There are also many times of the year when they close the streets for block parties involving vendors to promote their craft. The new downtown stadium has had a huge impact on the sports arena. Downtown Civic Center always has new attractions in the area; they now also operate ice hockey and ice skating during the winter months.
View moreDue to Covid I have had more classes online than in person. Personally, I prefer face to face. But this university has made online classes more accessible with great material and great professors. I struggled with online classes in high school because I could never get help from teachers. But now I pass all my online classes with flying colors.
View moreLet’s face it, most Greeks are stereotyped as “party people” and “arrogant”. At least that’s what I thought when I went to college. But frankly, the Greeks must be one of the most selfless organizations. For example, they constantly sacrifice weekends to volunteer to help the community.
View moreThere are always job fairs at this school and there are usually several companies that come to recruit. If a student really wants to do an internship somewhere, the school can help him get some kind of internship. The diplomas of this school are valuable and mean something. The school’s faculty can be very helpful in helping students find a job they will enjoy.
