This is among the best and we’ll established universities in the United States offering competitive courses that are in line with what the job market requires. I did my bachelor degree here in education and I remain a proud alumni. The dedicated and competent team of lecturers mentored me well and prepared me for the job market. They have cultivated a very good culture of students’mentorship which goes a long way in creating responsible career men and women. Well furnished and decent hostels for accommodation are available for all students interested at affordable fees though other students always opt for making their own accommodation arrangements. It’s therefore a good learning institution
View moreWhat I loved about this program was the type of friendships you create with fellow students and even teachers. It is a small program but worth it, that way you make relationships with everyone and get to know every student, you can say you become a family. I really liked the classes since we had the opportunity to learn different types of dances, dance composition, dance history, pedagogy, contemporary, tap, jazz, ballet, workshops, other electives and classes you need to accomplish and you even have the opportunity to travel and learn even more from other university professors.
The professors are amazing, have great personalities, and really push you to be better and focus on what you need to work on even more.
Probably the things I didn’t like that much was having class on Fridays when the majority of students decide to have free Fridays and the fact that you’re tired from all the dancing. Other than that, I really loved my experience at the UTEP dance program. I do recommend it, if you are planning on having a dance bachelor and looking for a good school.
