Drexel is known for its intensive quarter system program . While others use the semester schedule, Drexel prides itself with a 10 week course completion curriculum. It keeps you busy and also allows for cultivating a sense of urgency. You may wonder then, why not finish sooner than 4 years then? Drexel offers a co-op program (internship), where students have the opportunity to work for firms in their line of study for 6 months with no classes. This internship experience is intended to allow students put into practice what they are taught in the classroom and to generally have a feel of what their typical post grad job will feel like. Drexel preps you through the interview process as well as having mandatory classes for resume building, interviewing skills and all of the other essentials between applying for the job and working at the job. This coupled with other resources allows the student to not only do a great job on site but also to be the best representation of the school in the eyes of the employer. It is notable to say most students end up going back to work for these employers after they are done with graduation.
Will I recommend it ? Absolutely ! BUT ……It is also very expensive .
