The historic center is within walking distance of the campus and has the largest number of restaurants per capita. It was also the model for the US highway at Disney Land, so it’s very scenic but has a college town vibe. There are always plenty of concerts at the Aggie and a great old town bar for seniors.
Most off-campus student accommodation is available west of campus, which is why you can see freshmen chasing the parties on the west side on weekend nights. Avoid this at all costs, no freshman screams faster than going to Aggie Villiage in a large group. Have fun, but remember to be safe and responsible. The FoCo police are on the road like crazy on weekends. Never hesitate to call ramride or safewalk.
The east side of the campus is much more residential, like the rest of Fort Collins.
Football matches are currently taking place at the Hughes Stadium, which is off campus but only a short drive away. The rest of the home games take place at the Moby Arena campus.
