at Sheffield Hallam University

Sheffield Hallam University was an excellent place to study and I would recommend it to everyone. On my Journalism course the content was varied and there were numerous opportunities to gain experience in the sector with placements and positions obtained by the University.

The course was informative and progressive which helped me form a broad knowledge of the subject as well as allowing me to specialise later on in the programme.

The social aspect was excellent with plenty of buzz around the city (as a University city with two large institutions this isn’t surprising) and I would recommend Sheffield as a place to study in general.

The only thing stopping me from giving it 5 stars is the facilities which were a little tired and outdated when I was there, although I am aware that now SHU has added more buildings and modernised their facilities somewhat.
