QM takes very good care of its students – much more than other Russell Groups. Although its small-scale roots have left room for doubt, it’s considered an up-and-coming university, and I have had much more success reaching out to my department about my concerns and having those concerns actually listened to than some of my friends at other unis. When it comes to student healthcare and a democratic SU, Queen Mary has tried hard to ensure its student body remain vocal and part of the democratic process.
