I can see the staff tried their best to ensure a relatively good quality of teaching during the COVID-19. Providing online lectures and allowing online tests which help a lot. However, safe online teaching means a lack of communication and socializing, I’m not blaming them, this is the sadness we have to bear with.
View moreI think my tutors are all very kind and considerate to students. They are very happy to answer students’ questions and encourage us to think critically. They also offer us a lot of resources that help us with our studies. I’ve learnt so many things in the last two months and I really love my courses.
View moreUCL is a fantastic university in one of the world’s best cities. The facilities are excellent, albeit a little spaced out at times. The quality of the teaching is excellent and the faculty members are all great – you can go to them with any and all issues and they’ll do whatever they can to help solve them. There is quite a large workload, as expected, but it is very manageable if you’re wise with your time and attend your lectures. The only negative that comes to mind is that many lectures are given by guest lecturers rather than a UCL faculty member, thus the style of lectures can vary greatly (which can be good or bad depending on what you prefer), and it can be difficult to get in touch with these guest lecturers if you have queries.
