One of the best STEM universities in the world

Apart from being one of the top universities worldwide, Imperial also manages to tick all the boxes for the ideal university experience. The courses it offers are definitely rigorous and highly demanding but this is well balanced by the extensive number of societies and social events that take place on the campus. The main campus itself is located in South Kensington while the other campuses focused on research and innovation are dispersed around London. As a biomedical science student, I have gotten the opportunity to work on research projects on the Hammersmith campus as well. My course, in particular, was specially curated with the intention to integrate an innovative approach to the traditional biomedical course offered. The remodelled course allows students to have a balanced life since traditional lectures are replaced by online e-modules. This approach focuses on active learning and aims to consolidate learning through interactive face to face sessions in teams. In general, I think the course is challenging and interesting for anyone planning to pursue a career in research and academia or for a career in the industry.
