Medicine at Imperial

Having just finished my second year of medicine at Imperial College London, I can say that I’ve experienced enough of the university to give a rounded opinion. I’d say Imperial’s great if you want to be in London -very multicultural and imperial has a lot of international students (although sometimes they do tend to stick to each other in groups and not really mingle with everyone else), be very immersed in your subject and just having a degree from Imperial will give you a boost. However at times, Imperial can be extremely demanding (people literally only leave the library to sleep for all of 3rd term), have ridiculous expectations (55% passmark in medicine instead of the standard 40%) and a bit anti-social.
