I’m Davide, I’m from Italy, and this is my report as a student of ESE Florence. This is my first year of BSc in Business Administration and I joined the School last September. The setting and environment of the School immediately appealed to me, and I got along well right away with both the professors and the staff. Everyone is always available at any time for any problem or request. Coming from the Italian school system, I immediately noticed the differences in teaching, especially because at ESE you adopt a completely different study method compared to high school. If you’re not used to studying in a foreign language it can be challenging, but with time and commitment you get used to it quickly.
I also experienced something different from my classmates, since within a month after starting classes, I had to stay home for a month due to a knee injury. During that time I still felt closeness and support and received encouragement and well wishes for a speedy recovery from professors and fellow students. On the practical side, a special program was enabled right away to allow me to take classes remotely via streaming.
Another important aspect of this university course, which contributes to its uniqueness, concerns the internship placements, which provide a training period in a company every year. Companies are contacted and selected directly by ESE’s Internship office based also on the chosen course of study, so that the internship experience can be interesting and challenging for your profile and ambitions, as well as educational. In conclusion, I can say that I am fully satisfied with these first months at ESE Florence and it is an experience that I would recommend to anyone who wants to pursue a degree course of high educational value.

My name is Lorenzo and I’m a first-year student at ESE Florence. I’ve loved this place from the first day and I immediately met new friends from all around the world. We study in a healthy and cozy environment that facilitates interactions between students; usually, we meet in the library during breaks. I love the “face-to-face” way of teaching that stimulates in-class discussions and debates. Small classes make me more focused on the lesson and teachers are always available for clarifications. It’s a pleasure to learn about different organizational cultures, also through company visits organised by ESE in the beautiful city of Florence and beyond. Studying in the historic center of Florence is amazing, it is full of places where you can meet many international students.
So far, my experience here has been amazing and I’m learning a lot!

It was a great experience studying at ESE Florence. I am a hospitality professional and I came for a European approach to the hotel business, but I received much more. First of all, the founder of the school is a very interesting person, an entrepreneur and a visionary. This is reflected throughout the education system at ESE. The professors are practicing specialists in various business sectors with many years of experience. Many of them have family businesses and share their experience, and others work for large international corporations – students can get to know different sides of the business. Another important part of study is company visits. We visited iconic chain hotels in Florence and also local boutique hotels, visited Gucci house, Michelin-starred restaurants and got to know the processes. It is very valuable to receive such closed knowledge first-hand.The academic program provided me with a comprehensive understanding of the modern hotel industry, covering crucial aspects from management to customer service. And one more thing, but not the last thing, is the experience of student life. Student life at ESE is very rich and varied. We went to museums, had an Italian aperitivo, went to Tuscany on weekends and got wine and olive oil tastings, had hiking, and also had a big trip to Venice organized. The school has its own football team. And classes take place in a Renaissance palace! I couldn’t have asked for more for my studies. Thank you, ESE Florence!

This is university is astonishingly amazing. My experience was full of wonderful lectures and tours to many extraordinarily beautiful regions in Italy. If you want an amazing experience with the best group of people to lecture you in the best possible and fun way then ESE is the university you looking for.

When it comes to how international students are treated at the European School of Economics, it’s been such a positive experience for me! The school truly values diversity and inclusivity. They provide great support and resources for international students, helping us adjust to a new environment and feel at home. The faculty and staff are super friendly and always ready to lend a helping hand. Plus, the school organizes various cultural events and activities that celebrate our diverse backgrounds. It’s been an incredible journey being an international student at the European School of Economics!

Attending the European School of Economics has been a wonderful experience for me. I am grateful for the opportunity to study in the heart of Rome, surrounded by the beauty and history of the city. The staff and professors were incredibly kind and knowledgeable, making my learning experience truly enjoyable. The campus itself was like a museum, with its stunning architecture and welcoming atmosphere. I also had the chance to make friends from diverse backgrounds and cultures, making my time at the university even more special. Overall, I am glad I chose the European School of Economics and highly recommend it to others.

First of all since my campus was in the heart of Rome, the place and inside of the university was like a whole museum. I love how friendly and helpful the staff was, the professors were one in a million. I love how they did all their best to tell us about the subjects in detail and in a fun way with examples for us to get into it more. I liked how they make time and engage in it and actually help us to teach us, so it was all in one reading writing with our own brain and infos searching for the sources by ourselves listening but also being able to express our own way of knowledge on the topics!

Reflecting on my studies at the European School of Economics, which I completed over two years ago, I can affirm it was a highly positive experience. The faculty showcased a genuine interest in our development, offering solid academic guidance that has proven invaluable in my professional journey. Interactions with a culturally diverse student body enriched the learning process, allowing for engaging debates and a broader worldview.

The curriculum was both challenging and relevant, striking a balance that has since facilitated my transition into the business world. Florence, our host city, with its embodiment of art, culture, and history, provided a beautiful backdrop and an extended classroom of sorts, enhancing our educational pursuits.

The sense of community at ESE was a highlight of my experience. Collaborative projects and extracurricular engagements were not just about academic growth but also about forging lasting connections.

In retrospect, the support and opportunities I received at ESE have been instrumental to my accomplishments today. I extend my gratitude to everyone who contributed to my experience and confidently recommend ESE to those seeking an education that continues to resonate well beyond graduation.

Studying at ESE gives you unique opportunity to deepen your knowledge and interest in amazing learning atmosphere, small classrooms and International environment from professionals in the field. I recommend spending at least one semester in ESE Madrid, which would give you opportunity to live and study in the heart of this vibrant city and immerse yourself in the Spanish culture!
