(+) Is a fantastic University for students who are aiming to learn through practical methods.
Merchiston campus provides students with a variety of tools, machines and IT facilities that give
them a good understanding of how the engineering industry works. Teachers make good effort to help students,
providing them additional work piece of information to complement their studies. Merchiston campus has also
an ENSA students association which elaborates social events and makes sport societies to build up new friendship networks among students.
(-) Merchiston campus is relatively small compared to the two other campus (Sighthill and Craiglockhart). It can get very busy especially in period of exams. This might have an impact towards students who can’t concentrate or study at home.
Overall, I would hardly recommend this University to students who want to learn the essential abilities that will give
them a wide understanding of how Engineering and the built environment is all about.
