First of all, the quality of education is very high. Some of the teachers do not have very good presentation skills, but overall the lectures are good and the assessments are high level. Seminars are sometimes not very useful, should be used more for discussion and less for self-study. I got the feeling sometimes during seminars that we were just spending non-productive time there because the university required more lecture time. The self-study should be done in your own hours, not during seminars. I also felt that the topics and methods of UU are very traditional, which is sometimes good but more modern approaches would be good too. Lastly, the sense of community amongst students across the university could be improved too by the university. It sometimes felt rather divided between different faculties.
