Every center is a world. The UPM is composed of 22 centers that operate totally different from one another. In Spain, the best degrees in engineering at the theoretical level are taught in the UPM as a general rule. What is certain is that, depending on the degree you want to study, the center in which it is taught is different and is in different locations. The races that are in the Campus of University City have the advantage to be well communicated with other schools and a very good university atmosphere, since they share the Campus with the Complutense University. The courses offered at Campus Sur, Campus Montegancedo and Campus centro are more isolated, but they do not have a worse environment. The Campus Centro has the disadvantage that, being in the financial area, as a rule, the rent in the surroundings is usually somewhat more expensive. In my opinion, the most demanding schools are the Aerospace, the Roads and Industrial Engineering. They are also the titles that have better reputation and those that are better organized at the administrative level. The UPM encourages student associations, although they do not know fully, since in many cases, in addition to a formative function they have a playful function and do not just allow all their activities. The university has several well-equipped libraries that open during the examination period, although they are not 24h. As a general conclusion, the university is very theoretical, giving very good training although it lacks practice depending on the degree
