I’m in my third year studying Aerospace Engineering, and I have many complaints about the place where I study.
To begin with, the place where I spend the most part of the day is called ETSI and it’s situated in the Cartuja, near to some enterprises, a big park and the river Guadalquivir, and that’s all the good things I can say about de location. There are no restaurants, bars or shops for basic stuff near the university, neither there are any place where to live closer than 15 min on foot. If you want to come by bus, there are two circular bus lines that arrive to the building, C1 and C2, both of them doing the same route but in opposite directions.
About the degree I’m currently doing, I’m both disappointed and self-pleased. I’m disappointed with the organization, the way the majority of the professors
teach and evaluate their subjects and, most of all, with the unnecessary and extremely high difficulty and requirements we’re imposed to pass our exams.
And that’s the same reason why I’m ‘self-pleased’ because I know that every one who is still in this degree is just because of his or her determination and persistence.
So, if you want to come to Seville to study Aerospace Engineering, I truly recommend you to get prepared – mentally -, and, don’t have high expectations, if not, you will be really disappointed.
