at Universidad de Sevilla

I would like to talk about the University of Sevilla, in particular about the Higher Technical School of Engineering, it is my third year studying Aerospace Engineering and definitely, I wouldn’t recommend this University to anyone.

Probably the best thing the Higher Technical School of Engineering has is being in Sevilla, one of the most important industrial hub in the aerospace sector in Europe, and without any doubt one of the most beautiful cities in Spain.

When I started my studies here I was super excited but the reality of this University is much different. There are a lot of professors that are prominent figures in their fields but they are terrible at teaching so most of the times going to classes you just lose your time. They are just great researchers that to make their investigations the University of Sevilla make than to give classes, and of course, most of the times as they don’t want to teach they make their subjects illogically difficult.

Also a restructuring of the study schedule would be necessary. There are a lot of subjects that teach just the same and, the master that continue the studies needs a big restructuration for this reason. Also move in a more professional view, introducing a bit more the students into the industrial world would be a great change.

Of course is not the worst university ever, actually if you study here you are going to have a huge personal growth. Definitely, you are going to learn how to face any problem and you will discover that you are able to do whatever thing you are required to do, the only you need is willpower and determination.
