My opinion goes to the campus of BADAJOZ, which is where I studied: -The facilities of the University of Extremadura are very good, except for the Faculty of Medicine that is 'falling into chaos', part of the students have had to Give classes in the basement of the Infanta Cristina Hospital which is a shame since this faculty has a good prestige in the national level. "Little research budget. -Quite high cut-offs that make you migrate to another community, remember that Extremadura is one of the poorest communities (and therefore their prices are quite low) which causes people who can not afford to study in a Madrid, Salamanca , Sevilla, etc., for economic reasons. -For the dimensions of this university are missing many careers that I consider important since it supposes a great brain drain to other communities, for example; Dentistry, journalism, fine arts, philosophy, pharmacy, SMEs, marketing, design and fashion, architecture, musicology, nutrition, translation, pedagogy, some philology and engineering others, which could give a great boost. On the other hand, to return to those routes that nobody wants to do in the Uex for one reason or another, at the top is right, 60% of the students who want to study it try to avoid Uex, Spanish and English Philology, ADE ( With a very high dropout rate), History, ITA, Chemical Engineering, Mathematics and Physics. -Professionals plugged in, departments formed by entire families to which you have to buy the book of the subject (in some of these books cost € 70, EYE and do not see you with a photocopy that denounce you and throw you out of class) , Teachers who do not help or bother about students, teachers whose only obligation is to spend 20 slides in 2 hours of class and not transmit any knowledge to students, teachers who pass from you and if they can try to fuck you by going to your Office to explain the situation in which you live, they love to see how you cry even though you have tried hard, teachers who can not bear to go to an academy to supplement their classes. Obviously there are teachers who are saved and worthwhile, but in this university I think they do not even reach 20% of the total. -Exams, no longer depend on the difficulty of the subject itself, if not the character of the teacher, in most cases content tests that has not been explained in class, or with a simple slide without content ask a question That you can not answer. In cases like Math I of ITI or Accounting and Economic Costs is made uphill, you can go to an academy and strive to the maximum that in the exam you get putean as they want and they will not help you at all, in reverse, they will sink you saying You do not serve to study and that you should be in an FP or dedicate to the field. Examinations of faculties like Medicine or Nursing in which they do not renew nor the temarios for not wasting time of their personal lives in advance as they require this type of careers. -Temales, notes, … ANTICUADOS, 60% of teachers do not give notes, simply slides that do not serve you much because they do not explain anything, they only get us lost and do not know or where to start looking for information from the Exterior (I think it's great that anyone who wants to study something should have to bother investigating, but to a certain point). The other 40% or you put in a tray badly structured notes of the numerous "cut and paste" that they do or directly do not bother to give you anything. -As for the prices of the tuition fees of this university are not expensive compared to others in Spain, it is a plus, on the other hand it has quite a few cafes that offer quite affordable prices for both breakfasts and meals. The library is quite nice, large and has good service. In addition, each faculty has its own study hall. – Secretariat … I have had bad experiences with a couple of people from the Secretariat of my faculty, people without work, with bad face, bad answers that do not solve anything. As for the SIAA more of the same, and over the phone I have also been treated pretty badly. In general Badajoz is a fairly quiet city with good university atmosphere, but I do not recommend from my point of view the University of Extremadura, as it needs quite a few modifications from the teaching and study point.
