At Universidad de Salamanca, the faculty members are experts in their domains and offer personalized guidance to students. The university offers a wide range of academic programs that are both varied and intellectually stimulating. I particularly appreciated the professionalism and lively atmosphere on campus. Most professors are exceptionally competent and adept at sharing their passion for their subjects, igniting students’ interest in their chosen fields.

I have had the opportunity to be in two academic years at the University of Salamanca: one within the framework of the SICUE program and another during the master’s year. For students in the Humanities branch, the city of Salamanca is perfect, since its faculties are located in the historic center. If we add to this a rich academic offer, USAL brings together the ideal components to pursue undergraduate or postgraduate studies. The only negative aspect is that many of the professors do not combine teaching with research. In my opinion, these two realities are the ones that truly make a difference in the quality of university education.

I want to believe that my bad experience was because my degree was new at that time, and we were the first promotion. But it was not truly organized, teachers did not seem to care for the students, they had not any background to make classes interesting and useful. Of course, there were some exceptions, but in general, my opinion is not really good. I hope they will improve these issues since the competent bodies did not care about the students’ opinion nor the biannual surveys we did.

It is a great university but I regret that in the last years It lost his real vocation, the humanities degrees. Like too much of universities It started to focus in science faculties losing quality in some of its traditional degrees. I still recommend it but maybe in some years later I can change my mind.
