I’ve read someone’s opinion saying “I’ve done my bachelor in Industrial Engineering at ETSEIB and I considered that it is a university with a good reputation based on its difficulty more than its quality” and I couldn’t agree more. There are good teachers and “less good” teachers everywhere, but what happens at the UPC, at least in ETSEIB, is that there is the feeling that there is competition between departments to see which subject has the highest percentage of failed students. How can it be possible that there are exams that are practically impossible to pass and that the university does nothing about it? How can it be that they don’t even consider that if a test isn’t passed by a single student, that maybe the problem isn’t the students? Moreover, there are very few subjects in English and although there are uncountable tests and exams, there are very few presentations and projects that could be useful in our formation and future professional careers.
