Since the first day of class i’ve been in love with my degree. Psychology is such a personal bachelor and so must be the way of teaching it. What I loved about my University was how they manage to balance the importance of philosophy and science in the courses, as both are vital in Psychology. Moreover, what is special about UNAV is the importance they give not only to the academic aspect, but also the human. They care about the students personal development and the values they will stay coherent to along their career. On a profesional point of view, what is interesting is how you graduate with a bachelor in Psychology, specialist in mental health and with a diploma in a subspecialty (clinical, educational, or organisational psychology). However, it is still a young faculty that needs adjustments, like balancing the opportunities given to each diploma, as the clinical psychology one is more developed than the rest. There are very few courses taught in English (it’s mainly Spanish), so practically all the students are Spanish speakers, however it is quite international as most come from south America. Finally, one can not help but fall in love with the beautiful campus, close to the city (everything is walking/bike distance) and surrounded by the beautiful northern-Spanish landscapes.
