Theoretical and practical knowledge is well balanced with a slight focus on practice.
Subjects are presented mostly by investigators and teachers with strong connections to the real-world needs and problems giving the students an insight into several corporations and opportunities to internships and investigation projects.
Throughout your academic years, you will be challenged with presentations and teamwork, which serve as evaluation, making you a better communicative individual.
Facilities definitely have room for improvement, but you have everything you need.
One of the strongest benefits of studying the programme I am attending at ISEP, Porto, is the practical content of the classes we take. Almost everything that’s talked about in classes can be seen as in the “real world” work since there is no focus on the theoretical approach.
On the other hand, one of the disadvantages I find in my programme is the repetition of subjects in different course units.
One of the best engineering teaching in Portugal, ISEP offers to their students theoretical and practical knowledge that allows anyone who studies there to have a nice job. Porto is also one of the biggest cities in the country, which means it’s a bit expensive , but with a nice academic environment during the best three years of your life.
