Careers office of the university did a great job for securing tailored internships for the students. The professors are very understanding and mostly interesting throughout the year. However, I felt a lack of interactive activities I.e no academic competition empowerment for students to improve collectively. In general, Vistula can be a really good place for studies. However, self motivation and self organisation would be a key to success.

Vistula University is one of the most internationalized universities in the Republic of Poland. In fact, it accommodates students from over 100 countries while also offering its Bachelor’s program and Master’s program in 17 different fields of study, respectively. Over the years of my academic career with the University, moreover, I am also proud of how easily students can access not only literary, and academic resources but also consultation with each professor or other lecturer. It has been particularly true when I am taking a class, as these professionals always pay attention to students by providing much time for substantive interactions on subjects taught.

Furthermore, the University also invests its concerted efforts in career promotion through which students, for example, are encouraged to participate in professional meetings such as diplomatic forums (in my case). It is to say, there is a fortune of opportunities that future students for the Vistula University can expect to encounter, to interact with experts and other professionals in as wide fields of academic disciplines as it offers in its BA/MA/Ph.D. programs.

Once again, diversity is the only way to word and describe what my life at Vistula University looks like, and I will eternally appreciate every part of my academic endeavour together with this great University in the heart of Poland.

It’s a bad University all they care about is their money. They don’t even understand international students. It’s a money-first University. I would recommend other universities, not Vistula University. It’s a no-go.

My experience has been good overall in terms of fun and enjoyment. The studying is quite hard as I tried to motivate myself or with my fellow students, had awesome uni moments there especially lots of international students which I learned about different cultures.

When entering the university for the first time, I was surprised to see many foreign students here which are good since I am also a foreigner so I did not feel alienated from my peers or discriminated against due to my background and ethnicities as a mix-raced person. Vistula offers loads of activities according to students’ needs such as music, sport or languages with multiple cultural fairs and events which are really cool to see. Moreover, the university also organises job fairs and has a career office for anyone who is interested.
The only thing that can be improved is the working pace of the student office and Dean’s office as there was often a long line of students and getting paperwork done in a timely manner can be a bit tricky.

Its very interesting but online learning has made it difficult to understand some lecturers and to create relationships with classmates. It’s a program that makes more sense if there are human interactions from time to time, so the lack of that for most of the years of studying it has made it difficult. It would be better if there was a culture of group discussions among students nurtured by lecturers and also options for night classes for students with other responsibilities during the day.

The system isn’t flexible. As a master’s student you’re not entitled to work, school doesn’t even provide you with job vacancies in or outside the university. Lecturers and lectures aren’t flexible. Expecting more but getting little.

International Relations is nearing the pinnacle of new-age jobs, and the area provides several chances in various sectors of the economy. IR provides an excellent foundation for high-level administration, research, and analytical work in a variety of professions.
