I love how lecturers accommodate the fact that us masters students have full time jobs and some are parents. We have a say in how the schedule is structured due to this. I find this very beneficial.
My only downer is that some lecturers had a hard time communicating in English and this made some classes frustrating to attend
View moreI wanted to get my student documents to apply for residence permit. I went to school and waited in the queue for 2 hours. Yes, they make students wait this long to do their work! After waiting so long, they told me that they couldn’t see me paying my tuition fees. IT HAS BEEN 1 MONTH SINCE IT WAS SENT. They checked again and found it, but this time they told me that I had to send an e-mail to get my student documents. I sent an e-mail from my personal e-mail account and then from my school e-mail account. They sent an e-mail to my personal e-mail account stating that they do not reply to personal e-mails. However, I also sent an e-mail from my school e-mail account and they did not even get back to me. I had to start my residence application process without a student certificate. In a word, a disgrace!
View moreThe lecturerers never upload results some of them so we keep repeating modules. Documents are always misplaced no proper systems sometimes of not careful you will be made to pay fees twice. No heaters no proper canteen the food is limited no huge library where everyone can study
View moreThe Deans do not care about you. I know of several people that went to the Dean to talk about their situation and they never help the students. This school is not here for the students. Please, look into going to other schools before you choose it
View moreIt’s been my dream to become a chartered accountant and Vistula offered such possibilities with the ACCA program introduced. The lectures at the university all have their various experiences and are one of the best, but language is a bigger barrier as they sometimes mess up by either teaching with Polish notes or not being to express themselves fully.
One of the things I hated most was the way the university is and how slow the service provided by the dean was not the best. They were slow in handling emergencies and all. Another thing they could improve on is the standard of education offered in most of the programs. Vistula university would never be my first recommendation to anyone as there are better schools out there.
It is one of the most international universities I have seen with students from all over the world. Which means they need better English speakers in the school vicinity.
In regards to career prospects, I feel there are limited opportunities to get a job in most fields of study due to language barriers. I for one spent a few months looking for a job till I landed a job in my chosen field of study.
The program is great I’ve learnt a lot from teachers who work in the accounting field. Overall it’s a good experience coz we get the chance to learn about real-time scenarios. The teachers are very supportive and the student life is great we have the opportunity to interact with different nationalities. The only problem is with the Dean’s office queues being too long, emails take time to be responded to, I think they should hire more people in that department. I will definitely recommend Vistula.
View moreThe uni is very international with people from all over the world. However, I feel as if the university would be better if it did have as many old teachers as they tend to have difficulties speaking English which makes the experience bad at times but overall it’s alright but it could be better.
View moreVistula has a very international environment, enabling me to make new friends and learn more about others’ cultures. Very dynamic professors as well as useful lectures. On the other hand, it could be a good option for you as well in case you pursuing an internship or work. Very flexible.
View moreFriendly lecturers, I would highly recommend that you do accounting and finance at Vistula. There is no discrimination of race, language, skin everyone is treated the same and with respect. Lecturers are free and open to everyone!
