Undoubtedly, it was the most enriching and unforgettable year of my life. The College of Europe stands out as a distinctive educational institution, where one not only enhances their academic skills but also cultivates invaluable networking and social abilities. This exceptional place acts as a unique bridge between students and some of the world’s foremost experts, distinguished professors, as well as the most famous and influential politicians.
Moreover, the College offers two extraordinary and authentic study trips. The first delves into Poland’s multifaceted identity and history, allowing students to gain profound insights into its rich tapestry. The second trip delves into the complexities of EU security or integration challenges in the Western Balkans or provides a deeper understanding of the inner workings of European institutions.
In addition, the College’s academic community offers students numerous extracurricular academic opportunities, including the Natolin NEST program, which covers three pivotal areas: migration, energy, and combating digital disinformation.
What truly sets the College of Europe apart is its extensive and influential alumni network. Graduates find themselves seamlessly integrated into this vast web of former students who have made substantial contributions in a variety of fields. This enduring connection further magnifies the value of the education and relationships forged during one’s time at the College.
In summary, the College of Europe is an unparalleled educational institution, equipping students not only with knowledge and skills to excel in their chosen fields but also opening doors to a world of invaluable connections. It is an indelible and transformative chapter in the lives of its students, shaping their future in profound ways. What’s more, the unique experience of living in the Natolin forest, nestled beside the historical Natolin Palace, and surrounded by a close-knit community of around 140 students, adds an extra layer of charm and enrichment to the overall experience. This exceptional environment fosters friendships, shared experiences, and a deep sense of belonging that will stay with you forever after graduation.

No interest for students coming from the southern neighbourhood . Programme focused almost on eastern neignbours ,
Professors not always implicated with students (Master thesis supervision)
A multicultural programme than can easly turn to a cultral chock
An administration that doesn’t interact with students, rigid and static with few exceptions
However, the programme still really interesting, the campus is really nice and the residences are comfortable and well equiped,
Professor & courses of high level
The bilingual program is challenging and extremely interesting. A diverse and deep study program with study trips in different countries with your fellow students, the ‘flying faculty’ of visiting professors from all over the world with most actual expertise. VIP visits to campus, when you have the opportunity to communicate with ambassadors, ministers, and commissioners. A wide range of extracurricular.
In Natolin campus there is a unique atmosphere of students’ community, the campus itself is amazing: a historical palace, a natural reserve park, very good living conditions, excellent food. But the most important thing – this feeling of being part of the family.
Warsaw itself is beautiful and full of interesting places and events.
But all this comes with the price. It’s a year of hard labour and high pressure. So you need to be ready for this. But it’s totally worth it. If you’re looking for the degree in the realm of the European Studies – it’s the best shot, probably.
Courses are interesting and give a great panorama an about how the European Union and it’s institutions works. Teachers are highly experienced on EU topics, although some courses could be boring since some professors are not academics. What I liked the most was the study trips and the cultural events inside and outside the CoE. Dorms are more than well equipped allowing students to concentrate full time on the intensive studies.
