In general, the universities could now be considered as factories in which individuals with a certain degree of knowledge are produced in certain areas that will be useful in their working life, that is, knowledge that is reproduced by and for the market. The university was not conceived under a concept of utility, but rather its mission was to safeguard knowledge and knowledge, which if carefully considered has been left in a very inferior plane to the main objective of reproduction. The UNAM is not excluded from this commission of the market with the universities. For more excellence with which you can carry out your mission, there are even important exceptions. The ineptitude of teachers for which it is well worth asking if they have concluded a certain level of education or at least refers to questioning why are you teaching? And this is no more than an effect of another serious problem, the administration is dominated by an ineptitude even greater than that of the professors in turn corrupted. I repeat, the excellence within its framework is good, it has a wide catalog and a high level of careers to develop as well as cultural and sports activities.
