5 years degree program. 2 years of basic medical sciences and 3 years of clinical attachments in 3 different government hospital.

A very thorough academic curriculum. Incorporating Islamic values, Instilling virtues from Quran and Our beloved Prophets. Through this, we always strive to do our best to treat our patients in hospital as we all said in our hippocrates oath, Do No Harm.

As a student at International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), I have had a positive experience with the courses taught and the credibility of the lecturers. The courses cover a wide range of subjects, and the university has a strong focus on Islamic studies. Students have the opportunity to learn about Islamic culture, history, and philosophy, as well as more traditional subjects such as engineering, business, and education. The lecturers are experienced and knowledgeable, providing excellent guidance and advice when needed. They are dedicated to their fields and committed to providing a high-quality education to us the students. The university’s degree programs are highly regarded, and IIUM is ranked among the top public universities in Malaysia. The university offers modern facilities and workshops for engineering courses, making learning practical and engaging.

Studying at IIUM has been a great experience! The campus is beautiful, with state-of-the-art facilities like hostels, cafes, ATMs, bookstores, and a massive library. The residential colleges are self-contained and offer a range of services and activities. The campus is surrounded by green hills and is a peaceful environment for learning. The student body is diverse, with students from over 100 countries, providing a unique opportunity to learn about different cultures and perspectives. The university emphasizes academic excellence, freedom, and character development, which is reflected in the many extracurricular activities available. The university encourages productive and constructive leisure activities, with a range of sports and recreational facilities available. The university also ensures that students are trained to be responsible and imbued with good ethics, high moral values, and professionalism.

IIUM is one of the prestigious public university in Malaysia that welcomes thousands of International students and provides them with great education, good cultural exposure and great food and diversity. They have always made sure to give an enriched experience to the students especially making sure the bond between local students and international students are well maintained.

The teachers always made sure the students are their priority while providing excellent guidance and advise when needed.

Overall IIUM was my home and I wish I can go back to those days.
