Studying at Riga Technical University significantly enhanced my logical thinking skills and broadened my knowledge base. The challenging curriculum and hands-on learning opportunities encouraged critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. As a result, I feel more equipped to tackle complex challenges and pursue opportunities in my field with confidence.

As soon as you get accepted, you are going to wait for an email response for at least 2 weeks. They treat you as if you enjoy the document stuff and as if you purposefully try to annoy them or disturb them by asking for help. Nobody likes helping neither in the uni, nor in the country. You have to ask a simple question 3-4 times before most of the professors answer the question you actually asked. The uni dorms increase their prices every time they remember about it which is quite often. They gonna let you freeze on campus, in dorms because “sustainability, energy saving”. Not gonna lie, you can find a few great professors who are willing to help you understand and give you a chance to improve your grades, but none of them are locals.

The university in my opinion is quite good. My academic journey at RTU has been a transformative experience, emphasizing practical studies that bridge theory and real-world application. The dynamic curriculum fosters hands-on learning, equipping students with valuable skills and insights. At RTU, I’ve not only acquired theoretical knowledge but have honed practical prowess, laying a strong foundation for success in the professional arena. This unique approach has ignited my passion for applying knowledge to real challenges. The emphasis on practicality at RTU aligns seamlessly with my career aspirations, propelling me to thrive in dynamic and demanding environments. I am eager to leverage this exceptional education to contribute meaningfully to future endeavors.

My opinion of RTU is good. There is definitely a lot of room for improvement with the organization and the overall work completed with the staff. The university offers a good environment with diversity and an inviting campus.
