    Rongo University is located on the western region of Kenya. During my time there, my journey as a student was filled with interesting turns. From academic, to socio-cultural to the local political arena, my experiences there molded me to be the person that I am today. I don’t regret a single moment.

    Wonderful and experienced Lecturers

    The University has wonderful and experienced lecturers however it was a bit difficult learning some practical skills because the university didn’t have the necessary equipment. Overall the university’s location is safe and no incidents of insecurity ever happened during our time.

    My University of choice

    Rongo University is located in the Southern part of Nyanza region in Kenya. It’s a new university that has experienced a tremendous growth.
    It has a great team of teaching and non teaching staff who are very dedicated and committed.
    It has hostels for accommodation though they are not enough but there were many more under construction. Outside the university there are also hostels that are privately owned.
    Sporting activities are encouraged in this institution
    Students’leadership is strong and works as an intermediary between the administration and the students therefore students’welfare is well taken care of.
    I therefore recommend Rongo university
