JKUAT, one of the top leading universities in the country. This is a school of diversity where students of all walks of life can join, gain and develop theirs skills. The school offers wholesome development of personal and earned skills therefore I’d highly recommend.

View moreJomo Kenyatta university is often known to us as JKUAT a public university situated in Nairobi Kenya. Being a veteran university, Jomo Kenyatta has admitted a lot of students both local and international students. The high number of admissions per calendar year is because of the good education they offer throughout the semesters. JKUAT pushes us to achieve our dreams and I am really thankful for that. I will always recommend the university.
View moreThe Institution offers a wide variety of courses but its strongest emphasis involves 3 fields: Engineering courses, Agricultural courses and Information and Technology courses. I will proudly say that when it comes to the 3 fields it’s arguably the best in the country. A lot of alumni who have gone on to make a mark in various institutions across the country proudly associate themselves with JKUAT.
It has an even better experience when it comes to nurturing and promoting extra co-curricular activities such that if you are a sportsperson you are well covered with various games u can get involved in. I should perhaps say it has the best hockey and rugby teams across the country whereby the said teams decimate mercilessly our competitors.
It should be noted that this is a higher learning institution that welcomes students from all backgrounds even international students find it a good haven to study as there already exists a partnership with AICAD (African Institute for Capacity Development). I would highly recommend any student who aspires to excel in the 3 mentioned earlier fields to join and that’s not saying the other courses offered are less regarded but emphasise the jewels on our crown.
I do know for sure that in every program the level of professionalism by the lecturers is top-notch to enable excellence for any individual.
Probably one thing I would recommend for improvement is on-campus support for new and mostly foreign students as it is a large institution by land area and new students easily lose their way while going from one place to another.
