Studying at Astana IT University has been a transformative experience for me as someone from Kazakhstan who wanted to stay in my home country but still access world-class tech education. The university’s focus on digital transformation and innovation really resonates with me. The programs are well-aligned with the fast-paced development in Central Asia’s tech landscape, which I find particularly important. The collaboration with industry partners like Microsoft and Huawei ensures that the skills we’re learning are relevant and in demand. I also appreciate the multilingual approach – courses are offered in both English and Kazakh, making it easier for everyone to engage. The university is new, so you can feel the startup-like energy here. But, to be honest, some of the administration processes could be smoother. I’ve experienced delays in getting important information, and I hope they improve that as the institution grows. the mix of theory and hands-on projects gives me the confidence that I’ll be well-prepared to contribute to Kazakhstan’s growing tech scene.
