I recommend IUGB because of the good teaching quality. Courses are given as expected on the syllabus.
What I like the most is the student’s diversity. And the professors are always available to help us.
IUGB is one of the best universities of Côte d’Ivoire with one of the best programs and good-quality of teaching. It also has a very diverse community starting from the administration members to the students. This allows students to be easily integrated.
For me, when it comes to choosing a University, the only choice possible is IUGB.
The program as bachelor of art is good but they should offer more bachelors in different fields especially business, not only concentrations. Otherwise for a new American style university, IUGB is good. Also, they should put more emphasis on math classes for Business majors (Calculus 1, 2, linear algebra, etc because those are requirements for masters)
View moreIt is a good university with appropriate programs based on American university curriculum. There is materials there and students can use it to learn and master their fields. Also, the university prepares future undergraduates by giving them all they need to succeed in the future.
View moreThis university has been as beneficial as it has been deceiving me. On the positive side, I would say that I have been able to enter the work world easily thanks to the English and the presentation methodology I have learned. In addition, the American system, which emphasizes extracurricular activities and versatility, gave me the opportunity to develop more skills. On the negative side, I would say that my expectations were not met. I expected much more in terms of the quality of the courses. Having done a degree in political science, I found the courses not adapted to the realities of the African and Ivorian context. There was no advisor to follow me in my field in the beginning. I also found that there was no follow-up on the professional insertion of the students but there is a department of insertion now which facilitates things.
Definitely I would recommend IUGB in the hope that the negative remarks will be taken into consideration.
