I’m a recently graduated student in applied languages with Translation and Interpretation. The University of Salento is a little university in a little town in the South of Italy, Lecce. From my experience, I can assure that the teaching is very good with professors well prepared but I also have to admit that there are very few services. Some buildings are old and small. Also, there are a lot of problems with the organization of the several offices. Furthermore, there are few opportunities after graduating. To conclude there is also another problem that all Italian universities share: during all the grade we only attend theoretical classes, we have no practice at all and this for a language student is a big issue.
