The University of Ferrara is one of the oldest in Italy and boasts professionalism and offers its students excellent preparation in many areas.
Personally, I have studied Nursing Sciences and Techniques, a course that certainly trains you fully, but which lacks organization with regard to the times of the lessons and the exams themselves, which often overlap and therefore do not allow students to prepare in the most appropriate way. In addition, the study load is very demanding and between training (compulsory), lessons and exams it is difficult to have time for anything else.
One aspect that is certainly very positive is the possibility that the university gives economically disadvantaged students the right not to pay taxes and to obtain a scholarship that allows them to continue their studies. In addition, it makes available many libraries, study rooms, assistance from the student secretariat, which has always proved to be prepared and helpful.
Ferrara is not exactly the most exciting city in which to study, but it is a very beautiful historical city and the food is fantastic!
Overall, this is a very good university center, with qualified teachers and innovative and cutting-edge research and experimentation proposals. I would definitely recommend it.
