Overall, I found the course to be very interesting and filled with relevant content. The professors were clearly competent and well-prepared, which was reflected in their ability to convey complex information in a clear and engaging manner.
The course provided a solid theoretical foundation on communication, addressing topics such as media, culture, and the impact of communication on social dynamics. This theoretical perspective helped me better understand the crucial role that communication plays in shaping our society.
However, one of the few criticisms I would like to make is that I would have appreciated a greater emphasis on the practical applications of communication and marketing. Despite the wealth of theoretical information, I would have welcomed more opportunities to put into practice what I had learned through field experiences or practical exercises.
In general, the course of Comunicazione e società at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore was a valuable learning experience. It allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of the role of communication and marketing.
View moreAs an exchange student, Cattolica University offers a wide variety of courses, being able to register into the international or academic (bachelor’s or master’s) curriculum. It is very big, having various campus around Milan. Very enjoyable for a walking city, and you’ll get to meet people from all over the world. The buildings are old-schooled, but very well preserved, and all teachers are very well prepared.
View moreI recently attended Universita Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, and there were aspects that I both liked and disliked during my time there. On the positive side, I was impressed by the university’s dedicated and knowledgeable faculty who were always available for guidance and support. Additionally, the campus offered a wide range of extracurricular activities and clubs, fostering a vibrant social environment. However, one drawback was the lack of available scholarships or financial aid opportunities, which made tuition costs a significant concern for many students. Despite this, if you value a strong academic community and a robust social scene and are financially prepared, I would recommend Universita Cattolica del Sacro Cuore for its educational and personal growth opportunities.
View moreEnrolled in Primary Education Sciences to obtain teaching qualifications, the Catholic University of Milan allowed me to get to know the Milanese city better, as the university has several locations, easily reachable by subway.
Experiencing it partially as an attendee, only for the laboratory meetings, I can say that I have always found myself well at an organisational, communicative level and as a very spacious, welcoming and technological classroom, equipped with Lim to carry out the lessons and be able to present one’s own group work during the laboratory hours.
I would recommend it because it is easily accessible, for the structure that is always tidy, well maintained and clean, for the excellent organization, for the teachers who are always available and very prepared and for the rich and efficient study plan.
There are several things that I enjoy about the program I am enrolled in. The teachers explain everything in detail and are always willing to give clarification. I also like the services provided by the University, be it the fast canteen services, the low costs incurred when buying academic resources from the libraries.
One thing that I would like to improve about this University is, making the lesson schedule less tight. Sometimes there is a very short break between lessons, which makes it strenuous.
