StudentINCourse TitlesDuring this 5 year programme of B.Arch. I was disappointed by the course setting. There’s no way that could have prepared me for a real career in Architecture. The entire thing is based on hypothetical problems and solutions. I kid you not, the biggest joke is the thesis – it is so hypothetical and out of the world that it is almost unrelatable and the guides/ teachers have no genuine feedback for your projects. It’s like sailing alone.

The University is good, there is a wide variety of cultures hence we get to feel at home.

Also the academic life there is great, the classes are equipped with projectors, AC, good furniture and the staff is friendly.

Sharda University is a highly skilled University with good infrastructure and environment. It is one of the top universities in India. It has a huge campus with a lot of engaging activities and events. Its placement rate is also good. And the faculty is also nice and helpful toward the students. There are 2 semesters every year. Every semester 2 exams are held. In my course (CSE) there were a lot of opportunities and activities which help one to gain and develop skills. There are aptitude classes, and Pbl projects, which help us to gain experience. Overall It has been a nice experience there.
