The University of Debrecen is a university located in Debrecen, Hungary – a city whose higher education history begins in 1538 with the founding of the Reformed College of Debrecen. In 1912 the Hungarian Parliament vowed to establish two universities – one in Pozsony and the other in Debrecen – this led to the creation of the Hungarian Royal University of Debrecen, which opened in 1914. It was soon realised that the university’s facility was too small for its amount of students and so a new site was granted and funded by the city of Debrecen. This new building was opened in 1918 which became the Faculty of Medicine. Mathematics and Science began to be taught at the university a few years later within the Faculty of Arts.Show more

Late night study sessions: As someone who often studies in the late hours, the inability to access classroom spaces until the evening was a limiting factor. Flexibility in study hours would have allowed for a more personalised learning experience.
Investing in expanding the library’s collection would undoubtedly enhance the research capabilities of students.

The practical classes where the most important for me as this was where I learnt the most in mechatronics engineering also the teachers were very helpful and helped me if I hit a roadblock, also they were retake test this helped me improve my scores in class
View moreOverall, I would say it’s a good university I liked the program of education having lectures and seminars since I was in the business faculty, what I did not like was that we do not have clubs to subscribe to practice our hobbies or to do something besides studying.
