Budapest University of Technology and Economics - BME (reviews)

Friendly teachers, many student clubs, many events to bring students closer every month, and so on. Overall I really like this university. My study curriculum is also well structured, one thing I am missing thought is more project work. I would love it if my univerisity encourages me to do more practical work with real-life applications.

Basicly, BME was founded 2 centuries ago and has a high-quality engineering subjects/training programs. Mostly, all of the facilities are comfortable to use and overall view of the university building are glorious. But, on the other hand, some lecture rooms are too old and dormitories are not in good condition.

The university has a strong focus on internationalization, and it actively participates in exchange programs, allowing students and faculty to engage in academic exchanges and research collaborations with institutions worldwide. This international exposure can be valuable for students seeking a global perspective.

My experience at BME is wonderful, the professors are friendly, and there are no racist people.
The environment helps the student to study very well.
The equipment at the BME helps the students with their thesis and their topics.
I finished my MSc in geotechnical and geology engineering in 2022 and I start my Ph.D. in the same field at the same university.
