Student review [#8503] for Electrical and Computer Engineering
at University of Patras

I have been studying in the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering for the last 5 years. The University is known for the Engineering departments and is the 3rd biggest University in Greece. The faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineers is a highly demanding faculty. During the first 3 years students go through general subjects and get an overview of the different fields of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Then in the 4th year, they select one of the specific fields, Automation, Power Engineering, Telecommunications or Computer Science.
The faculty is placed in the middle of the campus, easy access to the dormitories, restaurant, and the cafeteria is provided. The whole campus is placed on the hill where you can enjoy an amazing view of the famous bridge of Rio, the seaside, and the mainland. Students in Patra enjoy the student life a lot, as Patras is one of the biggest student cities in Greece.
