This university in Architecture studies does not offer any foundation courses. You have to know design sketching drafting model making. Cad programs are taught in three seminars each in a room without computers; just watching a demo. Everything about this university sucks with the exception of some excellent teachers. The organization is chaos. The program changed and it took them one year to update their website. They eliminated architectural theory and they replaced it to engineering classes. The workload’s impossible to handle since you have to work on foundational knowledge at home parallel to school assignments. But even for continuing education seniors that have already some knowledge is very difficult. But they don’t care about what percentage their student fail. For them, it’s either the student to blame or because they have high level classes to prove how great they are. Some teachers put too much pressure into students by pointing out their power to grade while some others are very arrogant and they never reply to any question. They have no respect for their students and they don’t pay attention to any complaints. It seems that there’s a complete absence of management.
View moreI studied architecture in the most beautiful university I could imagine in Greece. I was lucky to have excellent teachers with brilliant ideas of theoretical studies and design. Nice to have teachers both of fields of theoretical knowledges and practical methods.
If I could write something against it would be the bad organisation in several terms of my study period and the poor experimental equipment of laboratories. It would be great if we could have the support of administration during our studies.
The location of the camp and the city that hospitalised us was simply superb.
The lab projects were generally difficult. Students needed more support during lab projects especially from professors and laboratory assistants. The weekly program changed almost every academical season and successfully covered the science and technological evolution.
View moreI liked the many workshop hours. Almost all classes had workshop hours and there the ideas and concepts discussed in the class were materialised and deemed practical and functional. O woukd recommended this university for the open minded you do not want limitations to what they can learn or how
