at Ionian University

Even if the Ionian University is one of the eldest in Greece, the building and the facilities are good enough. Always clean, with enough space for all the students, big classes and a well –equipped library can provide you with a pleasant stay here. There are many departments: Department of Foreign Languages, Translation and Interpreting which is the only one in Greece so it considers being demanded, Department of History, Department of Archives library science and museum studies ( where I currently study), Department of Informatics, Department of Audio and Visual Arts. Each department has got a different building, and I don’t really like this fact. Although each of them is close to the city center. If you study here you have to opportunity to participate in international exchanges programs and other activities. Furthermore, I am satisfied with the professors and all the academic staff. I recommend my University ,as it is located in one of the most beautiful and touristic islands of Greece and at the same time offers a high-level education.
