Alba is good value for money when compared to other MBA schools in Europe and their programs are indeed run entirely in English. However, I do feel the ‘Business Unusual’ is just clever marketing as it’s a traditional business school with a few ‘unusual courses’ thrown in which turned out to be disappointing. As with many schools, they have a few great, many decent and a few terrible lecturers. What makes it frustrating is that despite course evaluations, nothing really changes and it does not seem feedback from students is valued at all. The academic office is also very rigid and not very flexible to student needs. It’s a very formal and distant relationship. You never really feel a part of Alba. The career office services is targeted mainly for junior professionals though they run many useful workshops. Overall, it’s not a bad choice but it’s wise to talk to people and shop around to ensure you get what you’re looking for in an MBA.

This MBA program has proven to be not only an insightful and enlightening experience for me, as an individual and professional, but also an extremely good investment.
The ROI has been tremendous and the degree itself unlocked for me new possibilities and horizons abroad. More specifically, right after the completion of the program, and even before my graduation, i was able to capitalize and make a tremendously important life decision – to move abroad and establish myself as an international HR professional within a global organization.
This program empowered me.
Overall, the program was excellent, focusing on real business perspectives & life, innovative, modern, efficient, rather than dealing with too much academic theory. Great professors, nice location in the center of Athens with easy access.

View moreUniversity preserves to be “Business Unusual” ambassador and in a matter of fact, somehow it does thanks to a few alumni and professors. However, the overall performance is poor, from administration to core units. More disappointing is the poor career service for senior students (MBA). You would expect that the University would promote those grads – as they pay 20K – for that degree, but no. Career fairs are focused on Juniors. So be prepared to do “market cash-out” based on the “name” of the degree, if lucky. Yes, it is a community. Yes, alumni. Yes prestige. But, hey, I have seen seniors and managers in Companies, big 4s and rest, to be ASOE grads or BCA. Alba needs to focus more on those Programs, otherwise the market will decide for it.
