I would definitely recommend it. It helped set the standards in terms of academic background and discipline for my later on a professional career. The level of professors was exceptional and assisted for a better and deeper understanding of finance but also helped to get prepared on how to work in order to deliver projects on time.

It was a pleasure studying in ALBA. A perfect choice for a young professional. With excellent guidance from a big variety of senior professionals and professors with a great experience. Also, the facilities were perfect.

I like how well organized Alba is, with people ready to answer any questions you may have and help you with a smile on their face. One thing I would recommend to improve is to make it more challenging for students. I enrolled with the Msc in Finance program. Overall I enjoyed the courses etc but I would prefer to go even deeper in the courses and for the exams to be more difficult and challenging to pass. For example I enjoyed the course “Quantitative tools in finance” because the exams and classes were very interesting and challenging at the same time, making me more eager to study for the course.

ALBA is a great university which offers a lot, especially in terms of students’ diversity and teaching approaches. Well educated and dedicated teaching staff contributes a lot to this impression. Also, ALBA provides various practical workshops including experts from different fields of work into its teaching program.

I attended the Msc in Finance program (graduate in 2010) and under my opinion the professors were the most valuable asset of the course because they were practitioners with deep knowledge of the market.
I also enjoyed the fact very much that I both learnt and developed not only academic but also technical skills on Finance

Overall, very positive experience. Particularly, the fact that the MSc in Finance covers at least 60% of the CFA Level 1 is a testament of the careful consideration of the curriculum planing. Moreover, the addition of professors Karouzakis and Tzioumis has been detrimental to the success of the students as they bring a global outlook/perspective on teaching methods and effectiveness.

ALBA is a good post graduate school with some very solid professors. However, some of the professors are not up to standards and the standards of admission are low in my opinion, meaning that some of the students do not have something to contribute.

A business school is a market place for ideas above anything else. At ALBA you will receive high level instruction from Professors established not only in Academia but with tons of real world experience to back up their research!
Also, you will apply this knowledge and be exposed to the most important and relevant ideas in your subject of study!

I’m studying in ALBA GRADUATE BUSINESS SCHOOL that is located in Athens city centre. “AGBS” as a part of American College Of Greece has lots of facilities that could be interesting for everyone who wants to study in up to date place. As an international student, I’ve found vast knowledge during a short time after starting my studying. And I think the teaching path during the course is completely according to what you want in your real career.
